On december 13th the WaSHForEducation project will be launched in Nigeria. The aim of this project is to bring adequate WASH services to primary and secondary schools as a means to promoting quality education across Nigeria. This is an effort geared towards the success of the SDGs 4 and 6 precisely.
It is being launched by the Nigeria Youth Action for Water (NYAW) in collaboration with the Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative Nigeria (AREAi) and Supported by the Youth Actions for Sustainable Water and Environment (YASWE) and World Youth Parliament for Water.
The pilot program will be executed at the Apete-Ayedun community secondary School, Apete, Ibadan with the provision of a water facility and upgrading of existing toilet facilities.
