In the frame of 21st conference of parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, International Francophone Organization have organized, from October 19th to 22nd,
2015 at Libreville (Gabon), an international youth workshop on climate change and sustainable development.
During one week, about forty francophone young people from all over the world, including us, two representatives of WYPW : Mireille Tatiane from Cameroon and Flamay (Africa’s regional representative) from Togo, are reinforced, by experts and specialists, on sensitization, speech for the defense and
community mobilization applied to the climate change and sustainable development.
As WYPW’s representative, during group sessions or between participants, we presented our network, its goals, actions aims and some of our activities (on going or already realized). We will, very soon, submit two small projects to OIF for funding (call for projects applications will be opened for participants). Finally, as African regional representatives, we have discussed with other young leaders of Africa and of the world about networking between WYPW and their organizations and NGOs.
